Applications Open: Cultural Producers Programme
Creative Newham is excited to announce that applications are now open for the next cohort of the Cultural Producers Programme. This initiative is designed to empower the next generation of cultural leaders from Newham, providing a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the arts, heritage, and cultural sectors.
Starting in October 2024, the six-month part-time programme offers participants a comprehensive blend of theoretical and practical training. Through workshops led by industry experts, one-on-one mentoring, and paid placements with local cultural organisations, trainees will develop a broad range of skills necessary to thrive as Cultural Producers. From managing budgets to creating digital content, participants will be equipped to take on pivotal roles in bringing creative projects to life.
The programme is open to Newham residents aged 18-30 who have experience working or volunteering in cultural or arts-related organisations. Applicants from underrepresented groups in the industry, including those from the global majority, individuals with disabilities, and those facing socio-economic challenges, are particularly encouraged to apply.
