Yves Blais

Creative Land Trust (CLT) exists to save space for art. We are stewards of cultural spaces, creating affordable studios and enabling artists to thrive in London for the long term. CLT works with developers, local authorities and studio providers to ensure that London remains a place where creativity permeates, communities flourish, and heritage is reimagined for the future.

Yves Blais is Operations Manager at CLT and has worked on the project since its inception, securing funding to establish the organisation with support from the Mayor of London, Arts Council England, Bloomberg Philanthropies, National Lottery Heritage Fund and others. Funds have supported the organisation’s first property acquisitions, which once completed will provide over 52,000 square feet of affordable workspace in perpetuity at six buildings across four London boroughs for 360 artists and creative practitioners. Yves leads on CLT’s organisational development, overseeing fundraising, communications, and impact measurement.

Yves is also a producer and curator having worked on public and commercial programmes across the UK. He is Chair for the Board of postgraduate art education programme TOMA (The Other MA) in Southend-on-Sea, and a Trustee at art commissioning and production charity Forma Arts and Media in London.
